Intense fruit nose on this wine, medium bodied, low tannins and a smooth, dry finish. "To the Last Man" is a nod to our state's history when Minnesota was the first state to volunteer their services to President Lincoln during the Civil War under the command of William Colvill. When outnumbered in battle at Gettysburg, he responded by declaring, "To the last man!" Just like our Minnesota ancestors, the grapes used to create this wine are hardy and tenacious and the winemaking style bold and driven by bringing together Petite Pearl and Frontenac grapes in this beautiful dry red blend.
